We all know EDI is the hidden power behind any business, but we don't all know how to celebrate it and use it to drive growth.
This series of fully funded, half-day workshops has been specially curated for creative and digital businesses based in London. Please check the eligibility criteria in the FAQs below.
Workshops
- Wed 19 April| Workshops 1 and 2 | 10:00 - 16:00 | Face-to-face
- Thurs 20 April| Workshop 3 | 17:00 - 20:00 | Online
Each workshop will explore a different aspect of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) to develop your business's understanding and confidence in this area.
You'll come away with
- Practical and actionable steps to incorporate EDI into your business culture
- The ability to embed EDI's importance to business and societal growth into your plans moving forward
- Ideas on brand positioning and generating external engagement
There is a complete agenda below.
1-2-1 support
Your business also receives one hour of fully funded 1-2-1 support from the facilitator, Zoe O'Donnell.
This will be your chance to ask industry, marketplace or role-specific questions based on your business's requirements after completing the workshops.
How are the workshops structured?
Day one | 10:00 - 16:00 | LSBU Croydon
Workshop 1 - It’s much more than just colour ...
Workshop 2 - Communicating a fair and transparent workplace
Day two | 17:00 - 20:00 | Online
Workshop 3 - Appealing to everyone
What will you take away?
After the workshops you'll be encouraged to think carefully about offering work experience and placements, as well as creating your own talent pipeline to bring fresh ideas into your business via new, enthusiastic individuals.
As part of the experience you'll also have newsworthy and topical content created, i.e., stories about people. You can use this content in your internal and external communications to build morale in your workforce and community networks.
Your place will be fully funded by the Greater London Authority and European Social Fund.
